A WETTING RAIN IS EXPECTED WITH THE RAIN SPREADING FROM WEST TO EAST  
THROUGH TONIGHT. RAIN TOTALS OF A QUARTER OF AN INCH UP TO SLIGHTLY  
OVER AN INCH ARE FORECAST FOR THE AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. RAINFALL ACTIVITY  
IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE HIGHLAND FIRE AREA AROUND 11 PM TONIGHT.  
 
MAINLY DRY WEATHER RETURNS MONDAY, AND THEN CONTINUES THROUGH  
WEDNESDAY, AS HIGH PRESSURE GRADUALLY TRAVERSES NORTH OF THE REGION  
FOLLOWING THE PASSAGE OF A WEAK SECONDARY COLD FRONT EARLY ON  
TUESDAY, WHICH COULD BRING A FEW LIGHT RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS TO THE  
MOUNTAINS. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR WIDESPREAD RAIN IS WEDNESDAY NIGHT  
AND THURSDAY, AS ANOTHER SYSTEM CROSSES THE REGION.
