THE DRY FRONT IS HANGING OUT WEST TO EAST JUST NORTH OF
SPRINGFIELD. AS THAT FRONT CONTINUES TO PUSH SOUTH TODAY, EXPECT
CLOUDS TO FORM ALONG THE BOUNDARY AND PERSIST FOR THE REST OF
THE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING HOURS. DUE TO THIS INCOMING COLD
FRONT, LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE CHILLY DESPITE IT BEING A
PLEASANT DAY TODAY. THERE WILL ALSO BE QUITE THE TEMPERATURE
GRADIENT TONIGHT AS CAA BEGINS TO SETTLE IN. EXPECT LOWS
TONIGHT TO BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS IN CENTRAL MO AND IN THE 20S
NEAR THE MO/AR BORDER.

DON'T WORRY, WARMER TEMPERATURES ARE ON THE WAY! HIGH PRESSURE
SETTLES IN OVER THE AREA FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK. SOUTHERLY

AND MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. ON FRIDAY, A TROUGH EJECTS OUT OF THE
SOUTHWEST, BRINGING RAIN CHANCES TO PARTS OF THE AREA (MOSTLY

THOSE AREAS, INCREASING TO THE EAST. QPF ACCUMULATIONS STAY
UNDER 0.25" AND RAIN SHOULD START IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON AND
CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AND END WEST TO EAST BY SUNRISE ON SATURDAY.
ADDITIONALLY, SOUTHWEST WINDS BECOME GUSTY AROUND 20 TO 30 MPH
DUE TO THE TIGHTENING PRESSURE GRADIENT ESPECIALLY FOR AREAS
WEST OF HIGHWAY 65.

BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES MOVE IN STARTING ON SUNDAY. ENSEMBLES
ARE SHOWING TEMPERATURE ANOMALIES OF 15-25 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL, WHICH EQUATES TO (ROUGHLY) HIGHS IN THE 20S AND LOWS IN
