FRONT. FOR TONIGHT, THERE IS A LOW CHANCE THAT TEMPERATURES FALL  
TO FREEZING TO A FEW DEGREES BELOW FREEZING BY THURSDAY MORNING  
SOUTH OF THE I-20 CORRIDOR DUE TO A DRY AIRMASS AND LIGHT WINDS.  
THE DURATION WILL ONLY BE FOR A FEW HOURS. HIGHS TODAY WILL BE  
MAINLY 60 TO 65.

SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL RESIDE OVER SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF  
TEXAS BY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. COLD TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED  
ONCE AGAIN ACROSS OUR AREA BY DAYBREAK, WITH A FEW OF THE LOW  
LYING AREAS SEEING TEMPERATURES BRIEFLY DIP TO AROUND FREEZING  
BEFORE SUNRISE OVER SOME OF THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES.  
 
A WARMING TREND WILL BEGIN ON THURSDAY AND PERSIST INTO THE  
UPCOMING WEEKEND, WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES BY SATURDAY  
AND SUNDAY. THE WARMEST DAY WILL OCCUR ON SUNDAY, WHEN AFTERNOON  
HIGHS ARE EXPECTED TO TOP OUT IN THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S. DRY  
AND WARM WEATHER WILL PERSIST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK, BUT ANOTHER  
COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE AREA TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY,  
WITH A COOLING TREND.
