WILL BE IN THE BIG COUNTRY WITH HIGHS IN THE MID AND UPPER 90S.  
LEE TROUGH WILL NOT BE AS STRONG TODAY, WITH SOUTH WIND GUSTS OF  
MAINLY UP TO 20 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON. LOWS TONIGHT WILL BE MAINLY  
IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S.

THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE SOUTHEAST STATES INTO  
EARLY NEXT WEEK, WITH AN EXTENSION OF THE RIDGE EXPANDING WESTWARD  
INTO TEXAS TOWARDS THE END OF THE WEEK. THIS PATTERN WILL SUPPORT  
DRY AND WARMER CONDITIONS THROUGH THE EXTENDED PERIOD. DAYTIME  
HIGHS WILL BE MAINLY IN THE LOWER 90S OVER SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEAST  
PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA, WITH UPPER 90S TO NEAR 100 DEGREES  
ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY AND WESTERN CONCHO VALLEY. OVERNIGHT LOWS  
WILL BE IN THE 70S.
