DISCUSSION

ISSUED AT 332 AM EST WED NOV 20 2024

A LINE OF SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE SOUTH EAST OVER THE PENINSULA. SHOWERS SHOULD BE OUT OF THE
AREA BY MID MORNING. THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY WILL BE DREARY WITH
LOW CLOUDS LINGERING AS THE ACTUAL COLD FRONT MOVES OVER. CLOUDS
WILL BEGIN TO CLEAR OUT BEHIND THE FRONT AS A MUCH DRIER AND
COLDER AIR MASS BEGINS TO SETTLE OVER THE AREA. THURSDAY HIGH
TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE 70S. LOW
TEMPERATURES THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING WILL DROP TO THE
40S FOR MOST AREAS, EXCEPT THE IMMEDIATE COAST WHICH WILL BE IN
THE LOW 50S. THESE COOLER TEMPERATURES HANG AROUND THROUGH THE
WEEKEND, WITH 80 DEGREE TEMPS STAYING OUT OF THE FORECAST UNTIL
MONDAY. THE DRY CONDITIONS STRETCH INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK,
THEN ANOTHER COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH THE AREA ON
THURSDAY, INCREASING RAIN CHANCES ONCE AGAIN.
