ACROSS THE NORTH, AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD  
INTO THE REGION. CURRENT SHORT TERM FORECAST ON TRACK THIS  
EVENING WITH NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES EXPECTED.

COLD FRONT CONTINUES TO PUSH SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE AREA THIS  
AFTERNOON WITH TEMPERATUES IN THE 40S TO THE NORTH DESPITE FULL  
SUN. MUCH COOLER LOWS TONIGHT AS WINDS SUBSIDE AND SKIES REMAIN  
MOSTLY CLEAR. FORECAST LOWS WILL BE SIDED MORE TOWARD  
TRADITIONAL MOS VS NBM, ESPECIALLY NORTH.

SURFACE HIGH MAKES A QUICK PUSH TO OUR EAST THROUGH TUESDAY  
RESULTING IN RETURN TO SOUTH WINDS AND WARMER TEMPERATURES,  
TUESDAY NIGHT IN PARTICULAR WITH SOUTH COMPONENT EXPECTED TO  
PERSIST OVERNIGHT. SOME GULF MOISTURE WILL BE DRAWN NORTH IN THIS  
PATTERN WITH INCREASING CLOUDS SPREADING INTO AREAS ALONG/SOUTH  
OF I-40 PRIMARILY WITH POTENTIAL FOR SOME LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS  
DEVELOPING IN WARM ADVECTION PATTERN WITH SOME WEAK UPPER SUPPORT  
FROM THE SOUTHWEST. CLOUDS WILL KEEP TEMPS COOLER TO THE SOUTH,  
BUT THOSE AREAS OUTSIDE OF THIS INFLUENCE WILL BE NOTABLY WARMER  
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.  
 
THE ARM UP WILL BE BRIEF AS THE UPPER PATTERN CONTINUES TO SUPPORT  
ANOTHER COLD FRONT PASSAGE BY THURSDAY, WITH COLDER AIR ONCE AGAIN  
SPREADING SOUTH. TEMPERATURES BY FRIDAY MORNING ILL AGAIN REACH  
THE UPPER TEENS AND 20S, BUT QUICK MODERATION LIKELY BY THE  
WEEKEND. LOW RAIN CHANCES MAY RETURN TO PARTS OF THE AREA BY EARLY  
NEXT WEEK.
