BREEZY CONDITIONS WITH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH SUSTAINED AND SOME  
HIGHER GUSTS DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WILL COINCIDE WITH  
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES OF 40 TO 50 PERCENT ALONG MUCH OF THE SOUTH  
COAST OF PUERTO RICO TODAY. HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE  
ONCE SEA BREEZES BECOME ESTABLISHED LATER IN THE DAY, BUT FIRE  
DANGER WILL BE ELEVATED DUE TO DRY FUELS AND GUSTY WINDS. KBDI  
VALUES IN CABO ROJO YESTERDAY WERE 679 AND IN CAMP SANTIAGO, 704.  
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO APPROACH RED FLAG WARNING CRITERIA.  
 
FIRE AND EMERGENCY OFFICIALS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT WEATHER  
CONDITIONS ARE BECOMING MORE CONDUCIVE FOR THE IGNITION AND  
SPREAD OF WILD FIRES.  
 
FIRE DANGER STATEMENTS ARE ISSUED WHEN FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS  
ARE APPROACHING, BUT NOT MEETING OR EXCEEDING, RED FLAG WARNING
