CENTRAL TEXAS, WITH SOME DIMINISHING SHOWERS SOUTH OF SONORA. WINDS  
WERE LIGHT AND VARIABLE, AND TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 70S.  
 
HERE'S A QUICK FORECAST SUMMARY FOR WEST CENTRAL TEXAS.  
 
THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY GENERALLY  
SOUTH AND EAST OF A THROCKMORTON, TO ABILENE, TO STERLING CITY LINE.  
HIGHS WILL BE IN THE UPPER 80S TO MID 90S.  
 
A STRONG UPPER LEVEL RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL RESULT IN VERY HOT  
AND DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS WEST CENTRAL TEXAS LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE  
UPCOMING WEEKEND. EXPECT TRIPLE-DIGIT AFTERNOON HIGHS, WHICH MAY  
REACH THE 105 TO 110 RANGE AND CHALLENGE PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED
