A WEAK, SHORT-LIVED TORNADO DEVELOPED OUT OF A  
SOUTHWEST MOVING SUPERCELL APPROXIMATELY 16 MILES SOUTHEAST OF  
FORT STOCKTON, AND 5 MILES EAST OF HWY 285. THIS TORNADO TRAVELED  
ABOUT 2 MILES TO THE SOUTHWEST BEFORE LIFTING. IT STAYED OVER RURAL  
PORTIONS OF PECOS COUNTY AND DID NOT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE.
