...A PASSING COLD FRONT WILL BRING STRONG WEST SLOPE AND GAP  
WINDS OVERNIGHT...  
 
.AN UNUSUALLY STRONG WARM SEASON COLD FRONT HAS MOVED INTO THE  
BORDERLAND AND WILL CONTINUE PUSHING THROUGH SOUTHWESTERN NEW  
MEXICO OVERNIGHT. AS IT MAKES ITS WAY ACROSS THE REGION IT WILL  
BRING STRONG AND GUSTY EAST WINDS TO THE REGION. THE LOCATIONS TO  
SEE THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY ACROSS  
AREAS WEST OF THE HUECO, FRANKLIN, AND ORGAN MOUNTAINS IN OTERO,  
EL PASO, HUDSPETH AND DONA ANA COUNTIES. WINDS WILL BEGIN TO  
SLACKEN AFTER SUNRISE, BUT REMAIN STRONG THROUGH MIDDAY. HAZY  
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WITH LIGHT BLOWING DUST, BUT SIGNIFICANT  
RESTRICTIONS TO VISIBILITY ARE NOT EXPECTED.

* TIMING...THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND  
SUNRISE.  
 
* WINDS...NORTHEAST TO EAST WINDS WILL BE SUSTAINED BETWEEN 25  
TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 50 MPH.  
 
* AFFECTED AREAS...PASSES AND GAPS AS WELL AS SLOPES AND  
FOOTHILLS WEST OF AREA MOUNTAINS...TO INCLUDE THE FRANKLIN,  
ORGAN, AND HUECO MOUNTAINS.  
 
* IMPACTS...GUSTY AND BUFFETING WINDS COULD MAKE FOR DIFFICULT  
DRIVING CONDITIONS ON I-10 BETWEEN EL PASO AND LAS CRUCES.  
LOSE OBJECTS WILL BE BLOWN ABOUT. DAMAGE TO LIGHT STRUCTURES,  
SUCH AS AWNINGS AND SIGNS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS  
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT, ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
