A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE SITE THIS EVENING BETWEEN 7-9
PM, BRINGING A BRIEF PERIOD OF GUSTY WINDS, LIKELY SNOW SHOWERS OR
GRAUPEL AND POSSIBLY EVEN A RUMBLE OF THUNDER. WINDS WITH THE
FRONTAL PASSAGE COULD BRIEFLY REACH A PEAK GUST OF 40 MPH BEFORE
DIMINISHING BACK TO LOWER VALUES WITHIN 1 TO 2 HOURS BEHIND THE
FRONT. DESPITE THE POSSIBILITY FOR BRIEFLY HEAVY SNOW WITH THE
COLD FRONT PASSAGE, THE DURATION WILL BE SHORT, LIKELY LEADING TO
LESS THAN INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION. EXPECT A LULL IN THE SNOW
OVERNIGHT, BEFORE A BETTER CHANCE OF ACCUMULATING SNOW SATURDAY
MORNING BETWEEN 5AM AND 11AM. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE LIKELY
TO BE BETWEEN A HALF INCH AND 2.5 INCHES, WITH ONLY ABOUT A 10%
CHANCE OF MEETING OR EXCEEDING 3 INCHES.
