..EXPECT BLACK ICE ACROSS PARTS OF VERMONT TONIGHT

TEMPERATURES WILL BE FALLING BELOW THE FREEZING MARK ACROSS MUCH
OF VERMONT BETWEEN 8:00 PM AND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. WET ROADWAYS
STILL EXIST OVER ALL BUT PARTS OF NORTHWEST VERMONT. DRIER AIR
WILL NOT MAKE IT INTO VERMONT UNTIL THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THUS
WITH THE FALLING TEMPERATURES AND WET PAVEMENT BLACK ICE IS
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AS THE NIGHT WEARS ON. THE GREATEST AREA OF
CONCERN FOR BLACK ICE APPEARS TO BE SOUTH AND EAST OF BURLINGTON
AND MOST NOTABLY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN VERMONT. THIS IS
WHERE OBSERVATIONS CONTINUE TO INDICATE WET ROADS AND PAVEMENT.
PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING ACROSS PORTIONS OF VERMONT
TONIGHT AND INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AS BLACK ICE IS EXPECTED
TO FORM.
