EASTERN FREMONT COUNTY IN CENTRAL WYOMING...  
 
* UNTIL 215 PM MDT WEDNESDAY.  
 
* THIS RIVER FLOOD WARNING COVERS THE WIND RIVER FROM SOUTHEAST OF  
KINNEAR THROUGH RIVERTON INTO RURAL AREAS OF FREMONT COUNTY. THE  
COMBINATION OF RECENT RAINFALL UPSTREAM AND INCREASED RELEASES  
FROM BULL LAKE RESERVOIR WILL BRING THE WIND RIVER TO FLOOD STAGE  
OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THIS MORNING THROUGH TONIGHT. THE  
RIVER WILL REMAIN HIGH THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING BEFORE SLOWLY  
RECEDING.  
 
* AT 215 AM MDT TUESDAY MORNING, THE WIND RIVER AT RIVERTON WAS AT  
8.3 FEET. FLOOD STAGE AT THIS LOCATION IS 9.0 FEET. THE FORECAST  
IS FOR THE WIND RIVER TO REACH 9.3 FEET THIS AFTERNOON. THE RIVER  
IS TO REMAIN AT OR SLIGHTLY ABOVE FLOOD STAGE THROUGH MIDNIGHT  
TONIGHT, THEN SLOWLY RECEDE.  
 
* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE AREAS  
UPSTREAM OF THE HIGHWAY 789 BRIDGE AS WELL AS SOME AGRICULTURAL  
AREAS DOWNSTREAM OF RIVERTON NEAR THE BLACK BRIDGE AND HIDDEN  
VALLEY AREAS.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME  
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.  
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. ALL
