THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA...  
NORTHWEST KANSAS AND EAST CENTRAL COLORADO.  
   
DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
 
 
FREEZING FOG WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH MID MORNING ROUGHLY ALONG AND  
WEST OF A LINE FROM TRIBUNE TO SHARON SPRINGS TO BURLINGTON. DURING  
THE AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING HOURS, ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE  
POSSIBLE.  
 
IN THE LAST HALF OF NIGHT, FREEZING FOG, DRIZZLE, AND RAIN ARE  
EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA. THIS WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY TO  
BELOW A MILE AND CAUSE AREA ROADWAYS TO BECOME SLICK.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
 
 
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL END BY LATE FRIDAY MORNING. A STRONG STORM  
SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY.  
DURING FRIDAY NIGHT, THE PRECIPITATION WILL GRADUALLY CHANGE FROM  
RAIN TO FREEZING RAIN AND FINALLY TO SNOW LATE IN THE NIGHT INTO  
SATURDAY MORNING. AS THE PRECIPITATION CHANGES TO SNOW, NORTH WINDS  
WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH POSSIBLE.  
THE COMBINATION OF ICE, SNOW, AND THE VERY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL  
CREATE DIFFICULT TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO  
SATURDAY.
