DISCUSSION

MODEST RH AND FAIRLY LIGHT WINDS SHOULD PRECLUDE MUCH OF ANY
FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS. HOWEVER, IF RH IS LOWER THAN FORECAST
AND WINDS A BIT HIGHER THEN WE COULD POSSIBLY SEE AN INCREASE
RISK FOR ERRATIC FIRE BEHAVIOR TODAY AND SATURDAY. A STRONG
COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA SUNDAY NIGHT.
AHEAD OF THE FRONT, LIGHT RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY.
IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT, VERY WINDY AND COLDER CONDITIONS ARE
LIKELY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING WITH A FEW FLURRIES
POSSIBLE. ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING CHANCES FOR LIGHT
SNOW ON TUESDAY.
THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX -GFDI- DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR
PRECIPITATION THAT OCCURS OR ANY SNOW ON THE GROUND. PLEASE
MAKE APPROPRIATE ADJUSTMENTS.
