FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS,
NORTHEAST LOUISIANA, AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS
319 PM CDT MON MAR 25 2019

DISCUSSION

A COLD FRONT SLIDING SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE REGION BY THIS
EVENING WILL BRING SEASONABLY COOL AIR BACK IN FROM THE NORTH,
WHICH WILL LAST A FEW DAYS. A FEW SHOWERS OR A STRAY STORM WILL
BE POSSIBLE THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING OVER EASTERN MS BEFORE
CONDITIONS DRY OUT FOR THE BULK OF THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. WE
DO NOT ANTICIPATE MUCH IN THE WAY OF LATE NIGHT OR EARLY MORNING
FOG OVER THE COURSE OF THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. HOWEVER, MINIMUM RH
VALUES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY SHOULD DIP DOWN INTO THE 20S AND
30S, WHICH MAY AGAIN POSE SOME RISK OF GRASS FIRES IN LOCATIONS
THAT DID NOT MANAGE TO RECEIVE MUCH RAINFALL TODAY.
