* WHAT...FLOODING CAUSED BY EXCESSIVE RAINFALL CONTINUES TO BE  
POSSIBLE.  
 
* WHERE...PORTIONS OF EAST AND NORTHEAST TEXAS, INCLUDING THE  
FOLLOWING COUNTIES, IN EAST TEXAS, ANGELINA, NACOGDOCHES AND SAN  
AUGUSTINE. IN NORTHEAST TEXAS, CHEROKEE, RUSK AND SMITH.  
 
* WHEN...UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING.  
 
* IMPACTS...EXCESSIVE RUNOFF MAY RESULT IN FLOODING OF RIVERS,  
CREEKS, STREAMS, AND OTHER LOW-LYING AND FLOOD-PRONE LOCATIONS.  
FLOODING MAY OCCUR IN POOR DRAINAGE AND URBAN AREAS.  
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...  
- AREAS OF SHOWERS AND A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH  
THE REMNANTS OF EDOUARD, WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON  
ACROSS PORTIONS OF EAST AND DEEP EAST TEXAS. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL  
TOTALS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES, WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS UP TO 5  
INCHES, HAVE FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF THE WATCH AREA SINCE WEDNESDAY  
MORNING, WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES  
EXPECTED THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON, WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS  
POSSIBLE. GIVEN THAT THE GROUNDS ARE NEARLY SATURATED, ANY  
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL QUICKLY RUN OFF AND CAUSE FLASH  
FLOODING.
